Checks if any anti-virus scanner is installed
If one is not present you will be directed to AVG�s website to download the free anti-virus agent from download.com or from their server.
Checks your system for virus signature updates
If your virus signatures are older than 21 days, you will be prompted to check if an anti-virus is installed or needs updates.
Checks for latest Windows updates and or hot fixes
If required updates are not present, the system will alert you that the Windows update check has failed. Windows updates and hot fixes must be applied to continue.
Checks your system for anti-spam software
While this is not currently a requirement it is highly recommended. This will not prevent access to the Public Wireless (windstorm) and does not have to be installed.
